This is my 9th year to teach math and my 2nd year to teach AVID. They are two very different worlds, but both are very rewarding! Speaking of two very different worlds, I grew up in Maine and at the age of 11 moved to Puerto Rico. I had to take Spanish as a Second Language (SSL) classes. This experience gave me a great respect for my students who are learning English.
I have been married to my husband, Scott, for almost 2 years. We own 33 acres in the country with about 250 pecan trees. This year was our first harvest.
